What did this project involve?

This new website is designed to be a practical and helpful tool offering support and information to tour operators from across the tourism industry.

This project had three main objectives:

  • to give operators a comprehensive view of what the Madonna di Campiglio tourist board does for the region, supporting sharing and the distribution of information
  • Promoting experiences, events and activities in the area to assist with the coordinated organisation of the destination at times of particular interest and need
  • Sharing opportunities for growth and training

With this tool, partners and operators can receive all of the information they need to share with guests and technical support for a range of processes.

The website will be publicly accessible with a special private section available to operators via a specific login. 

Kumbe, on the back of ongoing discussions with Madonna di Campiglio tourist board, has produced a website with a design that is coordinated with the destination’s brand identity and which easily directs users to the different operator sections.

Users, who in this case are not guests but tour operators, can view everything on offer in the area, and receive up-to-date information to support cross-selling and up-selling of services and experiences to end users.

Behind the Scenes and News

To create a close relationship and sharing, there was a desire to create a dedicated section for giving “behind the scenes” news, a way of also explaining to operators what the tourist board is doing and, above all, how it can apply technically and operationally to provide the services available.

All of this is supplemented with a news section that supports real-time updates of events and news relating to the region and the tourist board’s actions for guests.

Training, driving growth

Particular attention was given to the training which the Madonna di Campiglio tourist board is committed to regularly providing to its operators through a series of structured training courses based on the real training requirements of partners.
