An intensive process, which began with the creation of a new identity for the destination, leading to a revised online presence.

Cooperation and mutual trust

The partnership between Kumbe and the Dolomiti Paganella tourist board, now renewed as VisitPaganella, is built on a long-term relationship of trust.

The previous portal was also created by Kumbe and this commitment has been renewed in the form of a new project that reflects the changing needs of tourists.

An innovative web project

Working closely with the director of the board, Luca D’Angelo, and the web manager Alessandro Altomonte, we created a new digital vision that better reflects the requirements of the region and its visitors.

A new identity for the destination: from Dolomiti Paganella to VisitPaganella

The VisitPaganella project began with a process to redefine the resort’s identity, transforming it from the Dolomiti Paganella tourist board to VisitPaganella. This rebranding was based on a guest-focussed approach, viewing visitors not as simply “tourists” but as people who share the region’s values who choose to spend their holidays in harmony with the local area.

The new brand, VisitPaganella, transmits a message of an authentic, sustainable, and environmentally aware destination, for people who want high-value experiences.

Rebranding portal

Designed to tell the story of the destination and inspire users with high-quality images and videos, the site branding presents a simplified and mobile-first interface inspired by the Instagram platform.
Users can explore the region’s values through a carousel of interactive stories, moving away from the traditional blog structure, and immersing themselves in visual content that reflects the local identity.

The collection section plays an important role in guiding and inspiring users who are able to find categorised content.


K•Tips, information portal

Designed for users looking for useful and up-to-date information, this portal stands out for the way it integrates third party systems such as Feratel and the Trentino Guest Platform, allowing access in real time to operating data and information. Using the filters, users can easily find what they are looking for, from opening times of attractions to the latest news about local events.

Not just information, updates too!

When browsing the information website, users can find up-to-date real-time information, such as opening hours for places of interest and restaurants.
K•Tips, which provides all of the information content, also makes it possible to send notifications to guests in the destination, updating them on the last remaining tickets, upcoming events and other information that the destination thinks it is useful to share via notification.

The aim of the VisitPaganella project is to create a connected digital ecosystem, where the brand and information portals communicate with each other and with other regional sites and platforms.

Events, distribution and management

The members of the destination's consortium can upload their events onto the site and they will be automatically displayed. In addition, VisitPaganella can also manage the content and share it across all of the region’s websites, a way of coordinating and circulating information.

K•Suite: Data analysis and support for the DMO’s strategic decisions

Kumbe created a strategic dashboard to support the Destination Management Organisation (DMO) in managing its portal, providing objective data that can help to continuously improve the user experience. This tool analyses variables such as the weather, seasonal openings, and cookie consent to offer a complete snapshot of user behaviour without collecting personal data.

This analysis, which complies with data protection legislation, allows VisitPaganella to optimise its strategies based on the market trends and user requirements.

29 October 2024: Launch event and community engagement

The new VisitPaganella site will be officially unveiled on Tuesday, 29 October 2024 at the Palacongressi centre in Andalo, an opportunity to share with the local community and operators in the sector how the destination has evolved and the new digital tools available to the region.

This project demonstrates how Kumbe and VisitPaganella have worked together to deliver an experience built on values and innovation, with respect for the regional identity. 

With the launch of VisitPaganella, Kumbe has contributed to the creation of a state-of-the-art digital platform, designed to promote the region and support a vision of sustainable growth, with the perfect balance of technology and authenticity.

Graphic design that creates an identity based on the Brand Book

The portal’s graphics were completely overhauled, using the Skiarea’s brand book. We developed a customised and distinctive interface, with photo styles and graphical choices that reflect the brand’s visual identity, creating a unique and immersive user experience.
