A long-standing client of Kumbe, Skiarea Madonna di Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta relies on our experience to innovate and grow its digital presence, through a relationship built on trust and mutual respect. A new, comprehensive project which is the fruit of conversations and the sharing of ideas, resulting in the brand new site ski.it

A strategic and technical Partnership 

After the first site, which we developed together in 2019, Skiarea Madonna di Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta requested a full restyling, not only to provide technical improvements but as part of a strategic move to strengthen the brand’s identity and its online presence. With the aim of giving the brand a more modern and effective presence, the site uses the new name, “Skiarea Madonna di Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta”. The current platform, designed with Kumbe, allows the resort to position itself as the first digital port of call for all essential information about the ski area.

An upgraded platform for integrated management

We used the Pimcore CMS to deliver an upgraded and high-performance platform, which can gather and centralise data from a range of different sources. The site is a hub for information about events, accommodation, offers, and much more, giving users full access to everything that the resort has to offer. 

A portal which acts as a hub for visitor information

This approach helps visitors to get the most out of their stays, supporting the tourist promotion strategy.

Buying a lift pass is easy and intuitive

One of the key goals of the restyling was to improve the purchase experience for visitors, making it quicker and more intuitive. Given the huge size of the resort, it is now much easier for users to identify the type of ticket they need for the area they are interested in, making purchases and activity planning easier. 

Booking made quick and easy

Based on the resort where the guest is staying, they can work out which ticket they need to book and which lifts to use.

Optimised management of ski lifts and webcams

The management of the ski lifts has also been upgraded, so users can see the status of the ski lifts in real time with much more detailed data than in the past.

This improvement is essential for all users, particularly when it comes to snow conditions, something which is of great interest to visitors, encouraging them to visit the resort. The way the webcams are managed has also been optimised, with an automatic control system that reports any faults, making the site easier for the client to manage.


You can also book your hotel!

The portal can be used for booking accommodation and taking up special offers, such as packages combining hotels and lift passes.
This functionality allows the businesses present on Ski.it to improve their visibility, increasing the opportunities for selling rooms and packages.

A multilingual portal for an international audience

Designed for an international audience, the site was produced in five languages: Italian, English, German, Polish, and Czech.
This multilingual approach makes the browsing and purchasing experience accessible to a wider customer base, making the resort more attractive internationally.

Optimisation of marketing campaigns

The site has been designed with a focus on the performance of online campaigns.

We have designed optimised landing pages to ensure high conversion rates on platforms such as Meta and Google.  This helps to improve the online presence of Skiarea, capturing a broader and more targeted audience.

Graphic design that creates an identity based on the Brand Book

The portal’s graphics were completely overhauled, using the Skiarea’s brand book. We developed a customised and distinctive interface, with photo styles and graphical choices that reflect the brand’s visual identity, creating a unique and immersive user experience.

Automated Seasonal Management

Lastly, the site supports the automatic management of seasons, a critical element for a mountain portal, facilitating the transition from high to low season periods without manual intervention.
